check.

This cable hat became something that was just an item on the to-do list.

All I wanted was to cross it off.

Simple Cable Hat from Cables Untangled; Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran in Chocolate

Really, after the third time I had to frog several rows of work, I wanted to forgo the entire thing. There is STILL a glaring mistake... I couldn't bear to rip again.

I spent the morning trying to get a good shot of the hat ON my head, then balling yarn.

I frogged an entire sweater made of Louisa Harding Kimono Angora Pure

... and perhaps they will live on again as Juliet scarves.

GOod for you - getting past the cables on this hat. The yarn you frogged will make a lovely Juliet - that scarf is on my to-do list as well. Lousia Harding has the most elegant ideas.

I think it looks great. I love cables!
Love the pic of yarn, like spaghetti - very creative. I find myself wanting to just keep staring at it - why is that? :-)

That is SUCH a great hat. It looks so nice on you! And if there is a mistake, I certainly can't see it.

Also -- I absolutely love that photo of the frogged angora in the cereal bowl. So cool.

Is it weird that it also makes me a little hungry? :)

I love that hat in that color.

I have that hat half-knitted... I need to finish it! It's almost like it's too easy to provide interest. Excuses, excuses, I need to finish that hat!
